I've always been a storyteller….
I have worked in public policy, legal advocacy, traveled the country as a leadership trainer, run teams of event photographers, and sat in board rooms as a decision maker. I’ve also fronted punk rock bands, sat in to sing songs with my jazz friends, taken care of our elders, counseled in women’s shelters, and pushed for more opportunity for all. In each, I was helping to shape stories and create strong messages to help people find all that is good. Every brand has a story, and the world should know more about the story behind the work.
I do it because I love it!
I love connecting people and magnifying all that is great and beautiful in this world. Social media is a powerful marketing and fundraising tool, and I have enjoyed helping business and non-profit organizations with storytelling in ways that connect them to people who will support their work. I work with people who want to focus their energies on their business, while I take care of their marketing and communications. I can help you find the "voice" of the businesses and create marketing content that speaks to the heart. I help established organizations reconnect to their values through internal and external communications work.
How it all started...
While working as the Marketing and Media Coordinator for the Kona Brewers Festival, Vice President of Marketing and Staff Development for KBXtreme Family Entertainment Center, and serving on the Marketing Advisory Committee for the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce, I stopped declining offers to freelance for my friends in the business community and started saying "Yes." It's been so meaningful to watch them succeed and an honor to be a part of promoting business and non-profit organizations that matter. We are now serving friends all over the US.
